Well, I am not completely gone yet, but as today and tomorrow are my last days of freedom before I leave on the 28th to Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan and I wanted to right a proper "see ya later" journal. ^^
It has been almost a year now since I have been active on DA (I registered much longer before that but did not give a shit, sooo...
) and it has been very fun so far.
*euphemism of the year*
Of course, I have met a few retards, but I guess there are no more of them on the nets than in real life - even if the net offers many opportunities to them as they can hide behing their screens...
Anyway, I would like to thank you guys a lot for all the fun.
I will still try to follow what's going here on via the lovely Vampire Apple (to which I am connected via mobile phone
), who will be fully in charge of managing this page for the next 4 months or so *glares at VA
)* Fortunately, during that period, I may have a bit of free time, so I guess I will find a way to connect.
And now, for the fun, let's make a list with the bad and good things about being an officer in the army:
THE GOOD THINGS :
1) Being paid to learn. Gosh, first time it happens to me !
And as studies are expensive...
2) having the right to wear a famas (big gun ^^), a 9 mm and a knife,
3) becoming as sharp and dangerous as the guys I was working with at the Ministry of Defence
. In short, turning into a fucking bloody warrior = hard in mind and body
,
4) free food, free lodging and laundry (after all, I am supposed to be to exhausted to do that ourselves
),
5) being the almost only girls with clever and, from what I have seen so far, very good looking guys. ^^
6) watching people changing of side of the road because they fear you.
THE BAD THINGS:
1) Probably not having an Internet connection, or , rather, not having the time to connect,
2) being hunt in the dark by commandos with dogs while just having a knive, blisters on the feet and more broadly, suffering a lot physically and morally,
3) living in collectivity for 4 or 5 bloody months,
4) getting killed (the Army is entitled a 5% loss ^^).
*grins* yay ! There are more positive aspects than negative ones !
Which is a good thing, otherwise, I would be wondering why I have left a boring but very well-paid and socially recognised job...
