Piranhas vs VampiresSebastian Lacroix was a distressed Ventrue.  
One might argue it had to do with the fact that he was ruling over a city, Los Angeles, which hosted the highest vampire-per-human ratio in the whole World of Darkness, or perhaps blame it on the Kuejiin threat, the Gehenna craze, the ever present paranoia that made up the very core of Kindred existance.  
That was obviously something, but he was quite well accustomed to it: he wore it nightly like his favourite Count of Florence shirt, with a somewhat loving countenance, knowing that without it, he wouldn’t be the same.

Arms crossed behind his back, Bombassa stood up on the tips of his toes before falling back on his heels, a very satisfied look on his face as he admired the ranks before him.   
“All right! Atten-shun!” the Redguard barked. In a wonderful harmonious whole, the troop stood to attention. “Well ladies, isn’t that bloody neat?” he asked, turning around, his dark face illuminated by an ecstatic smile.   
Standing behind him, Urzob gave him a blank.

A) BEWARE : LONG FORGOTTEN REALMS NERDISH RANTING

One line... One TINY line in a random entry managed to ruin over more than two months of work, argh ! :iconomgnoesplz: Can you believe that ?!

Actually, it is rather silly when you think of it, but it is just so, soooooooo frustrating. :iconcrycryplz:
I was almost done ! ALMOST DONE ! :iconfinallyplz:
I had the plot (well, OK, almost the plot, but it was going great... :XD: ), all the characters, their background, their psychology, their relationships (well, again, almost - BUT STILL :|), a lot, LOT of funny ideas (or at least ideas I found funny :ggigle:)... and then...
... then...

... I downloaded that bloody issue of "Dungeon Magazine #170", that one which had been eluded me for weeks .

And I started reading. And I enjoyed what I read. A lot. Until I my eyes fell onto THIS :

So far so good. This was exactly how I imagined the character. But then came the deadly blow :
"His given name: Myrkul Bey al-Kursi, Crown Prince of Murghôm."

Bey al-Kursi, Crown Prince of Murghôm... WHAT THE FUCK ?! :XD:
I assumed from the beginning Myrkul was a Netherese arcanist, damnit ! :icononiontantrumplz:
Powerful necromancer and all that jazz, he totally had the profil ! And now I am being told that A) he is a prince :O, B) from Murghôm, a totally random Eastern faerunian country of "farmers and horsemen"...

Things for Dubai are going all right, and things are getting a bit emotional at work given I am leaving in a little more than a week.

Funny it is when you have to leave you realise how much people liked you... and how much you actually liked people. :|

A friend got it, played it - and totally spoiled it for me. :noes:
He told me he did not like it. :noes:
Well, what he say was like "good game, but far from being unforgettable". He liked the fighting and the dialogues, but for the rest he was like - totally unimpressed... ^^;
And I was like : " :crying: ", because, sadly enough, he has tastes close to mine in matter of games, so if he did not liek it, I probably won't. :XD: ^^;

I was so disappointed he offered me all the Baldur's gate series, with the extensions and stuffs. :la:
The dialogues are priceless, the companions are great, and the storyline kicks ass (it is about Bhaal - or more likely, Bhaal's children, you should like it. :giggle: ).

Too many people. :fork: One is coming again tomorrow. ^^;
Oh, and my visa for Dubai is getting ready ! :dummy:

Well , considering your friend's opinion he must like DA because fighting and dialogs (along with huge lore materials) is of what it consist. Do not know, really .. if you liked Mass Effect and Kotor you would like Dragon Age too.
BTW , DA is the firs game in which I simply couldn't become "evil" type. And NO , not only because of Alistair xD

Aaaah, about Bhaal's children? I sense new material for stories, right? :la: And how about difficulty of game itself?

Congrats with visa! :boogie: So all you have to do now - is to wait? Or some more papers for Dubai?
